Finding Australian and international theses
To find Australian theses, search via:
To find UNSW Library’s collection of Australian and international theses in print, search Library collection for a title or keywords. Refine your results by selecting Refine my results > Resource type > Dissertations in the column on the left.
Trove - Australian print and digital theses
Trove includes theses at all levels, including PhD, masters and honours. Click Show advanced search to add your search terms to the pre-defined search limiting the results to print and online Australian theses.
To limit your search to Australian digital theses only, use the Trove - Australian digital theses search. Click Show advanced search to add your search terms to the pre-defined search limiting the results to online Australian theses.

ProQuest dissertations & theses global
ProQuest dissertations & theses global is a comprehensive collection of dissertations and theses from around the world, including works from 1743 to the present day including full text for graduate works added since 1997, along with selected full text for works written prior to 1997.
BASE academic search engine provides access to the repositories of 8,000 institutions. 60% of the full text documents are open access.
CNKI: China doctoral dissertation/masters theses full text database
CMFD gives access to full text doctoral dissertations and master's theses from a selection of major universities in China. Coverage 2000 - 2020
CORE aggregates open access research outputs from repositories and journals worldwide.
DART-Europe e-theses portal
DART-Europe is a partnership of research libraries and library consortia working to improve global access to European research theses.
EBSCO open dissertations
Includes the content from American Doctoral Dissertations in addition to theses and dissertations from around the world. Coverage from 1955
EThOS e-theses online service
EThOS is a free research tool that provides access to UK doctoral research.
Open access theses and dissertations
OATD provides access to open access graduate theses from over 1100 colleges, universities, and research institutions.
