Essential maintenance works at Main Library

Main Library partial floor closures

There will be planned essential maintenance works carried out on Levels 4, 6 and 7 of Main Library throughout Term 3 2025. During this period, there may be noise disruptions.

Some study spaces and Main Library collections will be temporarily closed. For UNSW students and staff and NIDA Library members:

• To borrow a book from a closed area, search the Library collection and sign in to make a request.
• Pickup items from the Request pickups lockers in the Help Zone on Level 2 of Main Library or select another Library pickup location.

Levels 6 & 7 will not be silent areas during the hours work is taking place. This includes the neutral sensory study space on Level 6.

All remaining areas of Main Library will remain open and operate as normal.
