International Open Access Week 2023 takes place from Monday 23 to Friday 27 October. Open Access Week is an invaluable chance to connect the global momentum toward the open sharing of knowledge with the advancement of policy changes and the importance of social issues affecting people around the world.

For the week of 23 October, UNSW Library is hosting a stall in front of the Main Library featuring open access (OA) badges and treats!

A roster of OA experts will be present to answer questions and talk about the benefits of open access research at UNSW.

Open Access Australasia programs

Open Access Australasia will be running a week of presentations for OA Week 2023 built around the idea of community in teaching and research.

Highlights include a panel discussion on improving open access to books and a two-part session on publishing and engaging with Indigenous and Pacific knowledge and research.
