Law Library is staying open over the break

Looking for a safe, air-conditioned space to study over the break? The UNSW Law Library will be open Tuesday 23 December 2025 to Sunday 4 January 2026 during the university shutdown. Law Library will be open to UNSW students and staff from 9am to 5pm every day except Christmas Day (Thursday 25 December 2025). Remember to bring your UNSW ID to swipe in at the after hours entrance (access via Union Road, Kensington). UNSW Security staff will be present on campus.
You can still access online resources from anywhere, through the Library collection.
The following facilities will be available at Law Library:
- study desks
- computers
- printing and photocopying
- use of the in-house collection.
Library staff and printing support staff will be unavailable during the UNSW end of year closure. Borrowing from the High Use Collection or loaning laptops will be temporarily unavailable from 5pm Monday 22 December 2025 until 9am Monday 5 January 2026.
UNSW Paddington Library and Main Library will reopen from Monday 5 January 2026 with all Library services resuming. Normal opening hours including 24/7 access will also resume for Law Library.
