Libraries helping communities come together and drive social cohesion
An exciting new partnership with the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) is supporting libraries Australia wide to deliver a diverse range of programs that help build stronger and more cohesive communities.
UNSW Library is one of 10 universities participating in the Community Cohesion program and we will offer a range of engaging experiences over the coming months for the UNSW community to enjoy.

In March, we will launch the new HelloAI! experience in the Digital Knowledge Space on Level 2, Main Library. In collaboration with Tactical Tech, HelloAI! will answer the questions you've always wanted to ask about AI but weren't sure where to begin. It will explore how AI shapes study, work and everyday life, and encourage thoughtful discussion about the broader implications of AI. There will also be an interactive Data Detox Spa experience designed to improve your digital wellbeing.
Open to all. No bookings required.
Other Library programs delivered through this initiative aim to build a shared understanding of the importance of cohesive communities, strengthen connections, networks and relationships, and bring the community together.
These events are part of the ALIA Community Cohesion initiative, delivered by UNSW Library. Select the activity to find out more and to register for sessions.
