Nada Stanojlovic

Nada Stanojlovic is Director, Information Services at UNSW Library and a member of the Library Executive Team. She provides strategic leadership for the Library’s learning, teaching, engagement, and outreach services, supporting undergraduate and postgraduate students, researchers, and academic staff across UNSW Sydney. Her portfolio includes oversight of the Library’s student engagement and experience strategy and the delivery of faculty-facing services.

Nada commenced at the Library in 2022 and has held senior leadership roles including Associate Director Academic Engagement (STEM), Acting Associate Director Collection Development Strategies & Policy, and Team Leader – Scholarly Information Resources. Prior to joining UNSW, Nada held senior management positions across the library supply and publishing sectors with Wavesound (RB Media), Footprint Books, and James Bennett Library Suppliers, working with academic and library communities across Australia, NZ, UK, and US.

With over 30 years of experience in the library industry her expertise spans student and faculty engagement, research support, collection development and profiling, technical services, cataloguing, and digital content delivery.  She has led significant service transformation initiatives, including the early adoption of eJournals, eBooks, and eTextbooks, the evolution from approval plans to demand-driven acquisition models, and the automation of acquisition workflows within academic libraries. Her current work focuses on the evolving role of academic libraries in supporting teaching, learning, and research, with particular interest in embedding Library AI in curriculum, digital literacy, assessment support, smart searching, and user-centred service delivery.

Nada holds an MBA from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM) and certificates from the Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM) in finance and people-centred leadership. She has also completed professional development through industry workshops and conferences, including the prestigious UNSW Women in Leadership Program, focused on strategic leadership capability and organisational performance.
