Borrow and return itemsWe have temporarily closed the return chute inside the Library. Items can be returned through the after hours return chute. You can borrow items using the self-check machines located near the Help Zone on Ground Level. When returning loans, use the self-check machine and place items in the return chute located in the Library Help Zone. The after hours return chute is located outside the Library on Union Road. High Use CollectionThe High Use Collection is located in the entrance lounge, near the Help Zone. Short loans and requested items are located here. Borrow and return short loan items using the self-check machine in the High Use Collection room. Late return of these items will incur fines. |
Study roomsTo support requirements for physical distancing and COVID Safe measures, we have temporarily closed many collaborative areas. Open study rooms and booths are available for single study only. Loans for headphones, VGA and HDMI cables have been temporarily suspended. UNSW students can Book a space to reserve study spaces on Ground Level and Level 1. Study booths are on Level 1. Study rooms are on Ground Level and Level 1. Most rooms are equipped with LCD screens and/or whiteboards. Check individual room details for current capacity, specific furniture and equipment availability. Tutorial rooms on the Ground Level and Level 1 are available for study when not in use for classes. |
ComputersComputers are available throughout the Library. Laptops can be borrowed from a self-service loan locker next to the lift on Ground Level. UNSW students can Book a space to reserve a desktop computer on Level 1. For UNSW student and staff Wi-Fi access, UNSW Wireless Network (UniWide) is available throughout the Library for use with personal devices. University visitors may use their personal device to access the UNSW guest Wi-Fi service. |
Print/Copy servicesHelp phones are located in the Print/Copy areas for print copy scan enquiries. Further assistance is available at the Print/Copy Services desk at Level 2 Main Library. Print/copy/scanners are available throughout the Library at the Print/Copy stations. Add credit to your UNSW ID card at the Print/Copy station Ground Level, any campus recharge kiosk, the Print/Copy Services desk on Level 2 in Main Library or pay online.
