Andrew Wells is the University Librarian at The University of New South Wales. He was appointed to this position in September 2001. Since then, Andrew has overseen major changes to the University Library's services, organisation and buildings. He has taken a strong interest in improving facilities and steering the Library through a period of rapid changes in scholarly information. Andrew has contributed services to many university activities, including a four year period as a Board member on the UNSW Union and Arc between 2004 and 2008.

Andrew has held senior positions in several major Australian libraries. Prior to joining UNSW, Andrew was the Assistant Director General, Resource Sharing Division at the National Library of Australia (1996-2001). At the State Library of New South Wales, he occupied senior positions in a variety of roles, building on major periods of service at the University of Queensland Library, Macquarie University Library and a previous stint at UNSW Library from 1982 to 1986.

Andrew has been active in the library profession through his involvement in a wide range of committees, professional bodies and activities. He was the President of the Council of Australian University Librarians from 2007 to 2009 and is Chairperson of CEIRC (CAUL Electronic Information Resources Committee) for 2006 and 2007. He resumed this position again in 2010. He was a mentor for the Aurora Leadership Institute for four consecutive years from 2003 to 2006. Andrew is a member of the boards of Intersect and CAVAL.

In 2011, Andrew was awarded the Fellowship of the Australian Library and Information Association.

Sarah Fredline started her library career in 1992 as a Faculty Librarian at James Cook University in Townsville. In 1995 she relocated to Queensland University of Technology as the Electronic Information Services Librarian, and in 2000 she became the Library Systems Manager at QUT for a period of 7 years. In 2007, Sarah moved into the role of Associate Director at QUT Library. In recent years Sarah's areas of specialisation have included library refurbishment and workforce planning. Sarah joined UNSW Library as Director, Central Services in October 2010. She has a BAgrSc (University of Queensland) and a GradDipLibSc (QUT).
